Introducing a new playstyle to the Battle Royale genre


What is C.Q.R.
What begun as a challenge for a single developer has turned into the possibility of a real new and fun gaming experience. Taking the multiplayer genre of what players know as Battle Royale and shaking it up a little bit to give them the feeling that they have more control over the game that they play. Strategy and skill are a big factor as players make their way around the map with their team to eliminate and loot the station. The map is designed to prevent uncoordinated and surprise attacks from teams. This is due to rooms being set up for quick thinking and fast movement to take space and advance on your opponents in close quarter scenarios.
Features still needed for release
Although the programming is nearly complete, there have been some struggles in properly implementing animations and models to get the right feeling for the game. (No one wants to play a first person shooter where the sights don't line up.) In addition to more animations and textures, I would like to implement a new inventory design as well as create different weapon rarities and/or attachments to give the combat some more variety.

My Journey
I am proud to say that I produced this game from the ground up using Unity by myself. This includes all scripts from movement to weapon statistics. As I wanted to discover what I could truly achieve, I decided to learn to 3D model and animate the basics for the initial prototype of this game. Although there is still much to do, I am proud of what I have accomplished and can not wait to see what the game will become in the future.
